August 1st Earthquake

As adventure tour operators, we take the safety of our clients and the peace of mind of their relatives very seriously. On August 1st, 2019, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake was felt in Chile, and parts of Argentina and other countries of Latin America as well. We have been in contact with our partners to inquire about the well-being of all our clients traveling around the earthquake zone, and thankfully everyone has been reported OK.

Chile is located on the seismic fire belt and thanks to very strict seismic codes in the country, we are grateful to inform you that although it was a significant earthquake, no casualties or damages have been reported.

Should you have any questions regarding your itinerary or a relative traveling with us, please feel free to contact us at info@lostworld.com / (800) 999-0558.
